Partners in both life and creative endeavors, via their agency Exploredinary, the Dallas couple love revealing the story behind the story — whatever the assignment. Their curious, playful approach informs every project they take on, from party pictures of local socialites to the artists of Nepal.

Having already delivered a feature on the latter subject with 2024′s Art is Love: Nepal, the entrepreneurial duo are adding to their oeuvre with the spirited new short Finding Mister Freedom. Premiering on YouTube this month, the 17-minute mini-doc examines the work of Los Angeles-based clothing designer Christophe Loiron.

Driensky was inspired by a well-tailored jacket he sourced at Southern California’s Rose Bowl Flea Market to dig a little deeper into the elusive French designer behind the Mister Freedom brand. This vintage-inspired line (a favorite of costume designers for films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) ethically and sustainably references everything from French submariners to American cowboys.

“I guess he checked out our social media and felt compelled to accept our interview request,” recalls Reyes of the film’s genesis. “More than anything, we were hoping to elevate his story and get more people to appreciate the effort he goes through to create these clothes that are historically accurate but still very stylish.”
