Coming attractions: Drone video of the Universal Resort in Frisco

The park aimed at younger fans is slated to open in 2026.

Construction on the new Universal Kids Theme Park at the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 in Frisco.

Universal Parks & Resorts new kids-theme amusement attraction in Frisco is well underway.

New drone footage shows that construction crews are now working on the third floor of Universal’s soon-to-be hotel, which will serve as one of the gateways to the park.

The park is slated to open sometime in 2026, potentially by May, just as the summer tourism season starts.

The 97-acre project should about 2,500 construction jobs, the company said.
