A man was arrested June 3 in connection with a fatal shooting last month in central Oak Cliff.
Terrance Lowe, 22, was booked into the Dallas County jail on a murder charge in the death of 22-year-old Davion Clines. He remained in the jail as of June 9, according to the Dallas County jail website, which did not list a bail amount.
It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
According to police, officers found Clines shortly before 6 p.m. May 24 in an alley in the 1900 block of Berkley Avenue.
Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel responded and pronounced Clines dead at the scene.
“Davion’s life was characterized by a thirst for knowledge and a ion for life. His enthusiasm inspired those around him, as he pursued his interests with vigor and determination,” Clines’ obituary reads. “Whether engaging in his favorite hobbies or connecting with friends, he radiated positivity and kindness that resonated deeply with everyone he encountered.”
It was not immediately clear what led authorities to Lowe.
