As strong midweek storms come to a close, temperatures are set to rise over the next few days in North Texas.
Wednesday proved quite cool for the metro area after the overnight storms, with a forecasted high of 79 degrees. That’s about 10 degrees below the normal high temperature expected for early June.
Things are expected to bounce back to normal Thursday with a high of 87, before climbing even higher this weekend into the low 90s. Humidity is also expected to rise Thursday and stay high throughout the weekend.
The day is expected to start with patchy fog for Dallas-Fort Worth, which could pose a risk to some early morning commuters. However, the haze is forecast to burn off relatively early, by 9 a.m. Cloud cover is predicted to decrease throughout the day.
Counties to the west of Dallas-Fort Worth may see isolated showers Thursday, but the chance does not appear to be above 30%.
