The Las Vegas Raiders extended the contract of star defensive end Maxx Crosby, the club said Wednesday.
And it wasn’t a run-of-the-mill extension, either.
According to multiple reports, the three-year, $106.5 million extension — which includes $91.5 million guaranteed — makes the former Colleyville Heritage star the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Crosby has been one of the NFL’s elite rushers with 59 1/2 sacks since being selected in the fourth round of the 2019 draft. He is on the verge of becoming just the third Raiders player to reach 60 sacks. The defensive end was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl in 2024.
Known for playing through injuries, Crosby nevertheless missed the final four games last season because he underwent ankle surgery.
But with his new deal in hand, some eyes now turn toward Dallas and Micah Parsons, the Cowboys’ star rusher. Parsons has made his desire for a new deal known, and his price tag may have just gone up.
