After a debut season in the ACC that resulted in a run to the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff, the SMU Mustangs now know when their encore will begin in 2025.
The university on Thursday announced the kickoff times for the first three games of the 2025 season, as well as the networks the games will be televised on.
Head coach Rhett Lashlee and the Mustangs will open the season on Aug. 30 at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, hosting East Texas A&M at 8:00 p.m. The game will be shown on ACC Network.
In Week 2, SMU will face Baylor at home on Sept. 6 in a nationally-televised game on The CW Network with an 11:00 a.m. kickoff.
The Mustangs then hit the road to face Missouri State on Sept. 13 at 2:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
Times and TV information for the other remaining games are to be determined and will be announced as they become available.
